last year I had overheating problems and saw on a blog some guy in Canada had the same problem and ended up removing the rubber housing the held the thermostat. said it would swell up and stop the water discharge. I pulled my motor from the lower end, removed the rubber housing and it ran great every time we went out fishing.
This year is something else it would shut off, but I had the feeling it was fuel, so I put in a diagram kit and first time out had the wife drive slowly across the lake while I adjusted the fuel/air. It ran like a champ for 3+ hours without a hiccup Next time out same thing but when I started it, I had to run around and let it warm up then it did great for hours again.
today we went out and I couldn't get it started at all. Day was not lost I pulled us around with the electric.
I am at a loss as to where to turn.
