Cheers for that chuck! though i was the only one having problems!! One of my mates said that he had the same sort of problem and it ended up being the external earthing cable had broken.... I spoke with the boat manufacturer where i get it serviced and he thought it would be something simple but due to the fact that they cant look at it until next week and there is a long weekend coming up i thought i would go and have a look at the earth cable and see if i cant fix it... But i dont want to stuff around with things too much! ends up costing more in the long run!!!

I thought I was the only one that this type of weird shit happed to, but I guess not. Obviously it's electrical. Other than that, I'd contact a service rep from the factory. Maybe they've encountered this before.
