1995 Merc V-150 Mag/EFI Model 1150413RD

Engine starts fine and idles OK. Mounted on 1860 Fischer Sport walk thru windshield.
Hit throttle, boat would plane out fine, 40 mph plus, run for 2 or 3 minutes, then suddenly shut off with alarms.Telltale has good stream, new impeller last fall.Fresh fuel and water seperator.I do have a 9.9 kicker that is tied in to the fuel tank using a fuel switch.Appears to me that motor is starving for fuel at high RPM. Motor will idle fine for long period of time. I have ordered low pressure fuel pump rebuild kit but with good starting and idle I dont think that is problem. Could the high pressure pump be failing? I am looking on Youtube to see how big a job switching high pressure pump is.
Appreciate the help.

If it is clogged heads you maybe able to run at a lower speed maybe between 32-35 all day without shutting down. Your alarm going off is probably because of over heating if it is clogged heads.
