When engine reaches 3000 rpm it sputters and misfires. I have replace fuel pump, fuel primer line cleaned all filters and screens. Did find an exhaust leak in lower unit causing water flow to be inadequate and possibly over heating electronics. Just recently found a power wire coming from starter to CDI module had been melted to the block. POSSILE to have shorted the CDI module with the RPM limit ? At a lost here please help
