Have a 1989 ford 302 V8, Volvo-Penta W/ Cobra outdrive. Alternator quit. The replacement Mando brand was quoted at 400.00.. Was talked into putting a ford Mustang 302 Alternator in it. runs great but now Ignition switch does not turn off motor.any solution other than springing for a Marine Alternator?
