Seems to be overheating even after checking the water tract (lower half, and exhaust manifold), impeller, and changing the thermo. It also seems to kill itself when you try to put the motor in gear when it is in the water before the overheat alarm starts blaring. I am a bit mechanical savy but boat motors are not as much in my wheelhouse as other motors. The motor fires up on the first turn, solid idle no missing or backfiring. Just not getting water through the exhausts like a should.
