I picked up a 1987 Bayliner 14 foot with 50 hp four Force outboard motor on it. The person that sold it to me could not get it to start I found that he had the kill switch wired incorrectly once I corrected the issue the boat started upon testing Motor smoke started coming out of the Motor area upon research I found that the top coil pack had a hole in the back of it and there was fluid leaking out and that was where the smoke was coming from the coil was burning admitting smoke I would like to know if there's an issue with the wiring that would cause this
