i have a 1982 sea-horse johnson 75hp outboard motor. I thought my trim and tilt motor was bad. thank fully it raised up for enough trailer it home. when i went out the next day i noticed it lowered more . so i jammed a board in so it couldnt go lower. Then i found a you tube video how to raise it manual. It turns out that screw you loosen a bit to raise it manual turns out it leaks fluid.
Question is can i take out the screw all the way? Should it have a rubber seal washer on it?
