Got the boat really cheap. Motor runs smooth, most everything else on the boat appears to be working properly. There are 3 buttons on the dash for the tilt controls. When the battery is connected and I push the down button I hear the motor running but no movement, however when I press the in or the out/down button nothing. Also should I be able to lift it by hand? It automatically falls back down (it doesn't drop down) I tried filling the fluid in the pump and there seems to be a little more resistance but not a ton. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to owning a boat but I promised my children we'd be able to go fishing on our boat this year.
