1971 Mercury 110 9.8hp

I have a 1971 Mercury 110 9.8hp and am trying to remove the power head to see if that nylon washer between the power head and adaptor plate is fryed. I have installed a new impeller and it's pumping water when ran in a bucket of water. I've removed the 6 bolts holding the power head down to the adapter plate but the power head is stuck on somewhere. I don't know if there is additional bolts else where that I've not found yet.....help if ya can, and thank you...
