I have a 1996 welcraft eclipes with a 5.7 and I'm having problems with motor cutting out at higher RPM's (under load) changed cap, rotor, plugs and fuel sep. filter. took it back out and she ran fine, cruised around at low rpms after for about an hour, just before I came back in I opened it up again @ about 4000 rpms it cut out and stalled. took a couple times to start back up and I brought back into dock sitting at idle it was surging, shut off and started right back up but still surging. Buddy of mine suggested hooking up a OBD2 to try to find issue just not sure where its located.... any help?
