I have recently purchased a 2007 Triumph 215 cc Powered by a 150 Hp Yamaha 4 stroke motor
The dry boat weight is apx 2600 lbs
My first foray into outboard motors
I find that at speeds of 35 to 40 MPH my rpms run 4500 to 5000. Is this normal ..
Second question
Top speed of the boat planed out 45 mph
By going to a 200 hp motor would I achieve that much more
