I have a Glastron 195sx with a volvo penta 5.0L engine when I start it the engine conks out after 10 seconds. The same thing happened a couple of years ago and there was water in the gas. We installed a fuel water seperator. It has worked fine for the last two years. I filled the boat up (not at the marina) before launching this year and it ran fine. I put half a tank in at the marina and the next time I went to use it the problem started. The marina mechanic recommends that you don't fill up the tank for winter storage. I have read we should and put a fuel stabilizer over the winter? Not sure what the problem is so looking for recommendation to fill during storage or not?
