i have a 1986 bayliner with a volvo penta 470 inboard its my first boat it looks really nice, its pretty much well kept i just replaced the interior. my problem is that the timing belt broke its was dryrotted i replaced the timing belt i hope the timing is lined up not sure how to check? but i got it to fire and start one time and since then im not getting any spark i pulled the coil replaced it got new wires and a new distributor cap but i still do not get any spark when i lay the spark plug wire next to the bolt and try to crank it please help my family is coming in from alaska and id love to take it out
