have a pair of BF50's on my lightweight powercat. last year we blew the lower unit gear out the starboard side of the lower foot on port engine. purchased new lower foot from honda. 4 months later we blew the starboard motors lower unit gear foot in the exact same manner. Motors have less than 400hrs. Engines were purchased at same time, same dealer and have indentical hours, servicing, gear oil servicing, etc. What gives?
