1999 four winns 170 fis and ski. 115 hp johnson outboard.
just bought over the internet. no dash gauges working including the sytem ceck lights.
have noticed at the back that 3 black and 1 green are connected together and attach to the neg on the battery. 1 of the black wires seems melted and has exposed wires. would this be the caused of the gauges not working and would this of blown a fuse? fuse in the motor . in the back of the boat or under the dash. any help appreciated
