When I start the motor at idle and move the lever into gear it starts propelling the boat at about 500 rpm's to get it to go faster I must move the throttle about 15 degrees . In this zone the speed stays at idle when I finally get response if it is too much , I muse go back to idle and start all over. this is a pain when trolling for fish.
