Will my Johnson controls hook to a yamaha outboard ( I have a 86 Champion with a Johnson 150 and I have found a Yamaha 4 Stroke 150 I think it is 2007

This cabin cruiser has an areil throttle control lever. Was taken apart, not by me, and I really need a diagram or any help on how to put it back in working order. Have been assured and reassured all the Peace's are there. Help please. My first issue is the 2 cable connections. One goes back to carb. The other into an electronic box. Need to Know how they attach to the control lever. Even if you can point me where to look. I've looked online struck out so far. Thanks a help, Thomas
