I replaced my prop last season and since then my boat won't plane and with two people and gear won't exceed 8mph. Can a prop make that big a difference? I had the Mercury tuned up at the end of fishing season so I doubt if it is the problem. A new fishing buddy thinks it may be fitted with the wrong prop. The prop is three bladed and has a 9.5 pitch. Any thoughts or info would be appreciated
