My engine dies when in neutral after 5 -10 minutes. It won't restart for another couple of hours. I have 1 year old batteries that test 1000+ CCAs, and the stater is charging at 12v. The mechanics at the dealer cannot find the issue.
I have noticed that the battery meter on the helm gauge is in the lowest reading when it won't restart, then after a couple of hours, the battery meter is closer to the center reading, and the engine starts with no issues.
The engine has no problems except when in neutral.
