Hi, my name is Mike. I am not an outboard guy but I have been doing basic checks on this engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The engine started breaking up under full power and now breaks up at even lower RPM.
Have changed fuel filters
have drained fuel pump which came out clean
changed coils
changed spark plugs
no water in separator
unplugged fuel injectors one at a time to see if I could isolate the cylinder. same issue with no change
at an idle, it runs pretty good but is now skipping a beat ever couple seconds which id did not do previous.
Have not checked fuel pressure yet because I do not have the fittings yet.
It sound electrical to me but clearly it could be fuel issue.
