I have a 2005 Yamaha VZ 250 MAX. I am experiencing a surge at around 3200 MPR, spits and sputters then quits. Most notable when the engine is hot and it is hot outside. I have replaced the fuel injector filters, both high and low pressure fuel filters, strainer, fuel pump and gasket (2) and have a new VST and gasket which I have not done yet. All of these I feel should be done anyway due to the age of the engine. I have also replaced the primer ball. I had thought it was a fuel issue but now I am thinking it might be electrical. Any guidance would be appreciated.
