The boat is docked in the water. Intermittently after a week or so sitting, the engine appears to be locked up. Removed a spark plug and water or gas spits out when engine is cranked. engine will then start and run. Fill the gas tank to full and after 10 minute of 1/2 speed, engine begins to sputter, and then dies. Wait 5 minutes and it starts back up, but sometimes will run rough. I am thinking somehow gas is being forced into engine when it is just sitting, that is the reason for it to be locked up when trying o crank. Gas tank is full and not venting? which can cause it be be flooded after getting gas. Any ideas.
