1989 Tracker transom separating from splashwell

I have a '89 Tracker DV which has developed about a 1/4" separation of the transom to splashwell & a slight "bow" to the transom. What is the recommended "fix" ?

Your probably looking at replacing the transom or loosing your engine into the lake at some time in the future.

I used a carriage bolt on each side of splashwell to pull my transom in. Its held all summer with no movement. I do use a motor prop to the trailer when transporting which the perviuos owner did not.
