We inherited a 1977 Witchcraft tri-hull with a patriot you 70 evinrude outboard with power pilot. We replaced the ignition switch as it was not very stable or really working, as well as a few other parts fir the gear shift. We had the motor in a big tub of water when we had it running and warming it up when something in the power pilot started buzzing really loudly.
Any ideas what it may be and why it’s buzzing?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
