Ive been working on a 97 175 ocean pro johnson outboard and took it to the water today went to unload it from the trailor and put it in full reverse the rpm's may have increased by a 1000 rpm's.
I had the lower unit rebuilt and I've done everything else. as far as I know the reverse was fine before removing the lower unit. I'm not sure how to increase the rpm's while in reverse. forward runs fine! does anyone have an idea?
