Suddenly the RPMs on my 1995 sea ray 17.5" bowrider with a 135 HP 3.1L mercruiser in board are super high , even idling. But the engine is not under stress or running hard at all. The prop has not changed, Using Merc 19 degree enertia prop stainless steel prop. prop is not spun.
