We have a 140 Suzuki 4 stroke... So we were out crusing around on Saturday and our motor suddenly died. It started again OK but did the same thing under acceleration. Until it would no longer start even if we pumped the primer bulb which would go slack again once we did get it running. On our way back home (being towed :() it would start again after some trying but would not stay running. We have replaced the primer bulb and fuel lines to and from the motor. Once home With water and ears attached we started it and once again with fuel cap on under accerlation it dies. We then unscrewed the fuel cap started it up and it still does the same thing. Can anyone give us some pointers on what may be wrong. It only has aprox 200 hrs on it.
