I bought a new Tracker bout in 2017 with a 115hp Mercury four-stroke outboard. for medical reasons, I have never had the opportunity to start and run the engine. I would like to finally get it in the water and am concerned as to whether or not it is safe to start it. Should I perform an oil change or any other maintenance before I attempt to run it?
It hasn't been started since I picked it up at Bass Pro two years ago.
