While replacing the seals, I pulled the shift rod out in the process and now I can't get it to engage the shifter cam. In looking at the schematic, it appears this rod goes into the cam on the lower end. I can look down in the hole and see the bore in the cam where the shift rod splines are supposed to engage. However there are no female splines in the cam and the shift rod rotates freely and does not work.
