The the motor is like new condition with 37 total hours. always kept indoors. And the EMM quit charging the battery. Which means a total replacement of the EMM. 1700.00 TO 2000.00 to replace it. This is a well know problem with all of the ETEC motors it is all over the internet. Called Evinrude explained the problem to see if they could help. They told me that I was on my own that they were not obligated to help and have a nice day. I said that I would spread the word that the Evinrude etc have big problems with the emms and that I was going to trade the motor off and buy a mercury. She said thank you that she would note that in my file.
