Hello, I been looking for days and cannot find anything to help. My uncle has a boat with a 25hp and it recently is unrepairable. He has the steering wheel, throttle handle..etc installed on his boat already. My local mercury dealer only has a manual 25hp (One with handle sticking out of motor to control). I am sure it is not hard to do but how to I convert this new manual motor to the already existing steering installation on the boat? Close as I got is there is a kit to convert it and nothing else, no instructions or anything. If I need a kit will the old parts whatever they are on the old motor be able to use on the new motor if that is the case? Don't know unless I ask. Again Hope I find instruction on this converting. Thanks
