2018 Mercury 150hp four stroke outboard

Engine won’t go over 4100rpms. No beeps or nothing. Changed plugs, prop hub nothing helps.

The boat would run at 35 mph with the same prop at 56000rpm. Went out a week later the rpm won’t go over 4100 rpm. The prop is fine. Motor just not get the roughly 25% more power.

I'm guessing that the problem here is when underway, if so, then it is possibly overpriced prop unless you were able to achieve higher rpm's previously. Try a lower pitch to see if the problem goes away.
