Does anyone know how to disable the Service reminder altogether in the CPU??? I am not talking about resetting it, I want it disabled!!
This is a very inconvenient feature on these outboard motors, and is a very serious safety issue if your on the water. Not to mention you as a boat OWNER is limited to using your own boat. I have been told that you can only reset this feature so many times before the outboard is in-operable, Meaning you can not use it unless you take it to a dealer and have them connect it to the computer software and reset it and cancel the codes, This is not on!! I want to disable this feature, who knows how to do it??
