After performing an oil change on the outboard we launched the boat and the engine just stopped. No rpm. Alarms were going off. Finally got the boat back to shore and on the trailer. This engine had zero issues with the exception of the 100 hours oil light when we pulled the boat out of the water last fall. I never would have imagined that changing the oil and filter would cause this type of problem. We used 2 1/2 quarts of Suzuki oil and replaced the filter. I have no clue what is going on. Please help. Thanks!
