1999 Honda BF50 outboard. Had carbs rebuilt and synced by professional. Idle speed was set at 950 rpm. Ran boat twice for several hours and it ran great. Third time I went out engine quit, no spark. Replaced CDI and charging coils. Never touched the carbs. Engine cranked first try but the starter dragged a little. Engine now idles at 3500 rpm and the negative battery cable melted. Backed off idle adjustment screw all the way and still idles @ 3500 rpm
