Hi, I recently bought a boat, 1989 Ranger 360V with 1989 Evinrude 175 XP. When test the boat on the lake before i purchased it, i did not noticed any beeping sound or alarms. Once i took it home, it took me about 2 weeks to take the boat on my own to the lake... So, i went ahead and took my boat to the lake and as soon as i started my boat i began hearing a steady beeeeeeeeeep alarm coming from the gauges area. I been researching to try and find out what could the sound be, I read overheating, i also read that due to sometimes traveling long distances with the motor being lifted up. What could this be?
