Yamaha F115XA 2013

Will not start on a hot day after running. 3 months chasing problem since buying the boat (it’s on a 2013 HurrySS188) and even had it at a Marine shop for two weeks and they couldn’t duplicate or find the problem. Occurs almost every outing where I shut it off after cruising/tubing and then swim for an hour and then it will not start. Have to prime bulb, crank, wait, crank, full throttle neutral, then it will fire up after about 10-20 minutes. I also cover the engine with tube, wet towel, umbrella, whatever to cool it down and keep it from happening as often. Never been stranded and this has occurred about 20 times this summer. I have replaced fuel line, bulb, Fuel/water separator, fuel filter, tested low pressure pump, run sea foam through everything, use ethanol free fuel, changed oil/filter. New marine battery too. I also checked fuel tank vent line and carbon filter to ensure that wasn’t creating vacuum lock and all good there.
I checked throttle position switch as someone had a similar issue and the switch being open was the problem. Mine works fine.
I am going to check water pump next as it seems this may be a heat problem. I did change the oil and heat up motor first using hose connection and not ear muffs and I read that is not intended for that and could melt pump and/or housing. It seems the engine would not start right away, but this only happens if it sits awhile. I can shut down and start right back up withIn 5-10 min all day long in 95 degree weather.
I also noticed that many times the up trim switch will not work when this happens. Not sure if related or if the heat is causing an electrical issue too.
Any other ideas? Incredibly frustrating and the engine starts 100% of the time upon launch and in mornings and evenings with the sun down and when running is perfect. Then in the middle of the day I get stuck cranking and then people come to rescue me and ask if I need a tow. Embarrassing.
I appreciate any help you can provide. No photos as there is nothing to show because I don’t k ow what’s wrong :)
