Yamaha Enduro 40HP 2-stroke, 2 cyclinder Model 66T. I think about 2001 model

Starts fine and throttles up in neutral. Once in gear it will go up to about 2500 rpm before it starts misfiring and skipping and won't throttle up any further.
Replaced both Stator coils. Ignition coil checked out OK. Replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, gas, and cleaned out the carb. Did continuity checks on all coils and CDI. Pulled the fuel pump and found a tiny crack. Fixed it with Super Glue. But, now I'm thinking that maybe gas is still getting thru and flooding out one of the plugs.

Thoughts?

Check 1 at a time this list is in order of repair cost

1-Check gas tank vent
2-check fuel bulb to see if its hard
3-carbs might need cleaning
4-if done of the above helped it could be your CDI unit which is very expensive
