Yamaha Marine is to continue its sponsorship of Bassmaster events through to 2016. Yamaha is an Official Premier Engine Sponsor of all BASS-owned events. BASS operates a series of fishing tournaments as well as the Bassmaster Classic, the annual world championship of bass fishing. It has a membership of 500,000 anglers. The company exhibits its V MAX SHO outboard series for bass boats at BASS events
