where does the oil go

I new to boating and I'm trying my hand at restoring a 1983 VIP runabout ski bass boat with a 4 cylinder outboard motor (chrysler 90 charger) i think. I can't fined where the oil goes; is it a 2 stroke motor and it's in the oil gas mix or am I overlookin something. I don't want to burn up the motor.
