Used Palm Beach boat purchase

I just purchased a 2001 Palm Beach model 1610 boat for use in the Great South Bay of Long Island. Haven't put it in the water, yet. Does anyone know about this boat make? I am getting nervous, as I now notice that these boats seem primarily being used down South. Is there a reason for that? Are they not seaworthy for the area that I live in? I bought the boat for my family of 4, but it will probably be used primarily by my 15 year old son & his friends. The boat was exceptionally clean with very few hours, but I am now having buyer's remorse....Thanks for any info! |
