carbs
by: Boatman

pull the carbs and clean or replace the needle valves...if you let gas set in them it will turn to a varnish and clod the carb up and stick the needle valves.....

Flooding
by: Anonymous

Check the screws holding the float valves in the carburators. They might have worked loose and are allowing the valves to stay open flooding the engine. I had the same problem a few years back and it only took me (4) years to find the problem. Finger nail polish the screws after you've tightened them to keep them in place. Finger nail polish is impervious to gasoline. It's just about the only thing that is.

I know it's a pain to take the Carbs off & put them back on, but it's worth it.

Good luck
Chuck
