This is the hole where fuel comes out

Just a question about the DT 8 carburetor.

With the cowling off, and squeezing the fuel line ball after it is hard, a small amount of fuel comes out of a hole right next to the hole where part #09493-24007 Jet, air is located.

Is this normal? I've looked at the schematic, and it doesn't show any type of pin or screw that goes beside the Jet, air.
