slow speed steering problem

I have an 18 ft Carolina skiff rg which I like with one exception, it is very difficult to steer at idle speed. I have a terrible time getting it on my trailer, even though I have trailer bass boats for 30 years. Si has a 115 yamaha and a 24 volt trolling motor, which could cause excessive weight on the rear,however none of my other boats,which were similarly equipped, had that problem. Is this the nature of a center console or do I have a problem that my service tech, sho looked at the boat recently, can't find. Help will be appreciated. Max |
