short?

I'm trying to start my boat and as soon as I tried to trim down the engine, lost panel indications and battery appeared dead. then let go of trim button and indications came back. suspected a short. tried again and engine trimmed down. when I tried to start the engineit happened again. I think its a short. After close inspection i dont see anything out of the ordinary or looks like wires that might be grounding.
