Sea Ranger
by: Anonymous

West marine now markets the sea ranger under their own brand, the only difference is the accessory plug/socket combination but the pin-outs are the same

Sea Ranger Info.
by: Anonymous

Sea Ranger no longer exists, nor is there service in Edison, NJ. Contacting Techsonic in Eufaula, AL
(now Hummingbird) cannot supply any information as Sea Ranger seems to be too old. Sorry!

What do the buttons do?
by: Anonymous

I'm a first time VHF owner and did the same - just got the SeaRanger SR5561 on Ebay. Advice on the power plug was useful, I didn't even see the thin black and white wires. Can you explain what all the buttons do? Some are obvious like C16 and SCN, but what about D/W, US/1, DIM and WX? I assume H/L changes the output wattage right?

Thanks
