Would really like to work in catering or housekeeping on a rig where do I start. I have a USA passport would that help.

I have 4 years in the Marines as a cook on military vessels and I currently work on a private ship as a cook does anyone know how to get in with a larger company? I have a wide range of training from eight years in the military. I am getting my MMD soon have to go to Maryland next week. am getting my TWIC today.

You have done all the right things, you need to check with all catering companies, but you are limited to North Sea, suggest you contact all the offshore supply boat and other UK shipping companies and get some seatime as steward as this may be easier to get a job.
