Regal engine hatch lift

by Thom
(Pensacola, FL, USA )

I have a 1991 Regal 240. The engine hatch is opened by an electronic motor. It only opens about an inch and if you pull it up while someone holds the switch the hatch can be opened. After about a foot it will continue opening by itself. Suggestions?

Regal Commodore 360 - aft bilge wiring

by Michael
(Cumming, Georgia)

I have a 1989 Regal Commodore 360. My aft bilge pump failed and I decided to replace it and the float switch.

The problem is that I forgot to mark the wires.

I'm replacing the bilge pump like for like. The float switch is a different model.

The boat has two sets of aft bilge/float wires located at the aft site.

My boat panel switch is on, off and automatic.

The new bilge pump(Rule 500) has one brown and one black wire.

The new float switch (Attwood) has two brown wires.

Any help on how to wire them would be greatly appreciated.

I have subject boat. It's a 26 foot cruiser that has been without cover and water has accumulated in the bottom. I know nothing about boats. Can someone please tell me how to drain the water that has accumulated in the bottom of the boat?

Thanks! trudy.hallgren@us.army.mil
