Can't get boat to run on pad. Is my motor set at the wrong heigth in relation to the bottom of the boat or what? Should this model run on the pad?

Higher will help

Adjusting the motor height can make a difference. Rule of thumb is the cavitation plate should be just even with the keel when the motor is trimmed down. I raised my motor about 2" above the keel and the boat runs flatter. I want it even higher but I'm out of holes. Motor should be as high as you can get it without causing the prop to ventilate. Good luck!
